2012 RDS Issues

I have a 2012 R2 RDS environment:

RDMAIN:

Session Broker, Gateway, RDWeb access, RD License server

RDS01 / RDS02 / RDS03:

Session hosts

The internal domain is: domain.com

The external domain is identical: domain.com

The deployment properties has the Gateway server name configured as: remote.domain.com

There is an A record internally pointing remote.domain.com to the IP address of the Gateway server; RDMAIN, so that when a user opens their web browser and navigates to remote.domain.com internally, they are presented with the RDWeb page, where there is a published desktop. The collection publishes a desktop load balanced across the 3 session hosts.

There is also an A record on public DNS for remote.domain.com pointing to public IP, NAT's in to the local IP of RDMAIN.

Internally and externally, remote.domain.com sends me to the RDWeb access page, as is expected.

The problem is, when I try to launch the published Remote Desktop from within RDWeb, it is trying to send me directly to the gateway server; RDMAIN instead of to the session hosts.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
